  1. Word Search - will filter the list by what is entered
  2. Add a New Main Category
  3. List or Icon View - Shows how the menu will be displayed in the app (go to Faculty Settings to change)
  4. List Order - Currently static, please contact us if you want the order changed
  5. Image and Name - shows what will be displayed in the app, will be greyed out if in list mode and show a warning icon if image doesn't meet requirements
  6. Edit Category - Select to open edit page
  7. Delete Category
  8. Goto Subcategories - Select the list item to open the Sub Categories page

Add New or Edit a Category or Activity

Select Add New Main Category or the Edit Icon of the category

  1. Shows the current image or if New or has been delete it will show 'No Image Selected'
  2. Delete Image
  3. Choose Image - once uploaded the image will be displayed
  4. Category Name - This is the name used in the App
  5. Required Number of Entries - used to help guide students on the number of entries they should make (See Benchmarks and Stats Calculations)
  6. Available - Placeholder Benchmark
  7. Save to update app or Cancel

Subcategory

Subcategory - continued

  1. Link to Qualification and Standards - Select to open the accordion
  2. Use the Drop downs to select a Qualification and the specific part/s of the relating the subcategory to help guide students to find where to make entries (See Benchmarks and Stats Calculations)
  3. Link - Enter the URL of a website/page that will be available to the student in the resources page and the Enter Activity page. Can be used for guides, textbooks, etc.
  4. Template for Students - Opens a text rich modal allowing you to create/edit a text template for students to use in their Enter Activity Description/notes e.g. what a sufficiently detailed and accurate description of the completed works looks like (See Enter Activity for example)
  5. Save to update app or Cancel

Activities

Select Create a new Activity or the Edit Icon of the Activity

  1. Activity Name - This is used in the App
  2. Description - only used in the web portal for your notes
  3. Unit - Help guide students to find where to make entries (See Benchmarks and Stats Calculations)
  4. PC - Placeholder, previously used with Unit Standards
  5. PC Code - Placeholder, previously used with Unit Standards
  6. Cancel to exit without saving or Create/Save to update App
